Spirit of Paimio Conference 9th – 10th October 2024

We are pleased to announce the second edition of the Spirit of Paimio Conference hosted at Paimio Sanatorium, designed by Aino and Alvar Aalto. Themes and first keynote speakers for the two-day conference will be announced early 2024. 

Spirit of Paimio Conference is designed as an innovative platform for interdisciplinary thought. Paimio Sanatorium brings together thinkers and doers, makers and visionaries to collaboratively build unexpected ways to answer questions through radical, practice-based solutions and meaningful conversations.

The inaugural Spirit of Paimio Conference was held in October 2023. The conference featured an extraordinary lineup of keynote speakers including Juhani Pallasmaa, Lyndon Neri (Neri & Hu, Shanghai), Hans-Ulrich Obrist (Serpentine Galleries, London) and Susanna Pettersson (Finnish Cultural Foundation).
