How to get to the Sanatorium
The Sanatorium is accessible by car or public transport.
Accessibility
Wheelchair accessible entrance is located on the left (northern) side of the main building.
Guided tours are wheelchair accessible.
The row house apartment building, which served as a staff house for nurses, was designed by Alvar Aalto’s office in the 1960s. The apartments are functional and practical, making them ideal for longer stays in the sanatorium’s scenic environment.
Artek’s Aalto furniture classics fit perfectly into the apartment interiors.
