How to get to the Sanatorium
The Sanatorium is accessible by car or public transport.
Accessibility
Wheelchair accessible entrance is located on the left (northern) side of the main building.
Guided tours are wheelchair accessible.

At the end of the patient wing was the first scenic lift in the Nordic countries. It was used mainly by ward nurses, whose accommodation was located next to the lift. The large lifts in the centre of the sanatorium were not for patient use either. Patients had to use the yellow main staircase to build up their strength.
