Spirit of Paimio Conference takes place at Paimio Sanatorium on Tuesday, 21 October 2025.

The event brings together international voices from architecture, design, and art to explore this year’s theme Echoes of the Future – how heritage and innovation can inspire new ways of thinking about well-being, culture, and design.

The lineup of keynote speakers includes designer Ilse Crawford (Studioilse), architect Kjetil Trædal Thorsen (Snøhetta), artistic director Flavin Judd (Judd Foundation), museum director Janne Sirén (Buffalo AKG Art Museum), curator and strategist Guta Moura Guedes, and design duo Odin Visser & Charles Gateau (Studio LoopLoop).

Moderators and panelists include Johanna Agerman Ross (the Design Museum / Disegno), Hanna Harris (City of Helsinki), Samuli Woolston (ALA Architects), Aaron Zeligs (Evergreen Capital), along with Joseph Grima (Curator, Paimio Sanatorium Foundation) and Mirkku Kullberg (CEO, Paimio Sanatorium Foundation).

Early Bird tickets are available until Sunday, 28 September. After that, the regular price applies. Bus transportation from Helsinki can be booked together with your ticket, but seating is limited.
