Opening Hours

During Summer Season 14.5.–1.9.2024:
Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–18:00

In September and October:
Tuesday–Saturday 10:00–18:00

Open for groups and private tours everyday. Please book your private tours in advance sales@paimiosanatorium.com.

Guided Tours

During the summer season public guided tours are held from Tuesday to Sunday.

Guided tours are held in Finnish and in English.

How to get to the Sanatorium

The Sanatorium is accessible by car or public transport.

Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible entrance is located on the left (northern) side of the main building.

Guided tours are wheelchair accessible.

The Paimio Summer is sunshine yellow! So is the new summer shop and a small cafe, inviting visitors to relax and shop over a coffee.

The shop offers a selection of hand picked items, including everyday utilities, books, and paintings by young artists from the Free Art School. A small range of design classics by Alvar and Aalto is also available at the shop. Old furniture from the sanatorium, have been repurposed for the shop display.

The Shop and Canteen are located on the ground floor of the patient wing, with a terrace overlooking the green fields and woods.

Refreshments can be enjoyed outdoors, whilst enjoying the fresh air and soothing shades of the old pine trees.

The Shop is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 AM to 6 PM.
