Former head nurse of Paimio Sanatorium and Finland’s most skilled himmeli restorer, Tuula Paakkanen, will be restoring old himmelis at the Sanatorium this holiday season. Paakkanen will lovingly bring tired himmelis back to their festive glory.

The Himmeli Restoration service is available on the opening weekend, November 23–24,  November 30– December 1, and again on December 6–8.

Depending on the extent of the work, you can pick up your restored himmeli the same day, the following weekend, or on a separately agreed date.

Reserve your time in advance by emailing info@paimionparantola.fi. Please specify your preferred day to bring in your himmeli and include a photo along with a brief description of the restoration needed.
