These terms and conditions (”Terms and Conditions”) apply to use of Paimio Sanatorium’s online store paimiosanatorium.com (“Site”). Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using the Site, you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
From time to time, Paimio Sanatorium may change these Terms and Conditions by publishing an updated version of Terms and Conditions on the Site. The updated Terms and Conditions apply from the moment of their publication. Please read the Terms and Conditions currently in force before placing your order.

These Terms and Conditions apply to both consumer customers and companies using the Site. There are certain rights under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act referred to in these Terms and Conditions that do not apply to business customers.

3. Ordering
You can order items either by registering as an online store customer or as a guest without registration. You can register as a user by filling in the registration form and choosing a username and password. You must provide at least all the information required for the order.
Any orders you place on the Site will form a valid sales contract between you and Paimio Sanatorium. You are responsible for providing correct information (e.g. contact information) about you to us. If you notice any errors in your order details, please correct such errors to us without delay.
After placing an order on the Site, you will receive an order confirmation indicating that your order has been received.
4. Payments
All trade happens between the customer and Paimio Sanatorium. All payments made through the Site are processed at your choice via Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (”Stripe”) or Paytrail Oyj (“Paytrail”) in accordance with their respective payment terms. Stripe and Paytrail are payment services that forward your payment to us after receiving it. Therefore, instead of Paimio Sanatorium, Stripe or Paytrail appears as the payee on your bank statement or credit card invoice.
Items are paid at the checkout of the Site in connection with the order. You can choose the payment method that suits you from the options offered on the Site.
5. Prices
The prices displayed on the Site are quoted in Euro, including Finnish VAT.
All prices and product information on the Site may be subject to change from time to time.
6. Liability
Paimio Sanatorium does not accept liability for defects caused by improper use of the product or other defects for which the customer is responsible. Paimio Sanatorium is not liable for the loss of access to the item or other inconvenience to the customer caused by a possible product error, defect or reparation.
Notwithstanding the applicable mandatory regulation, you agree that Paimio Sanatorium total liability shall be limited to the purchase price actually paid by you to Paimio Sanatorium.
Paimio Sanatorium does not guarantee the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site. Your use of the Site may be interrupted, for example due to maintenance, website changes or failures. Paimio Sanatorium shall not be liable for any damages related to the use of the Site, except as provided by mandatory law.
7. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and we comply fully with the requirements of applicable data protection legislation, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation of the EU (Regulation 2016/679/EU). 8. Intellectual property rights
The content on the Site is protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property rights of Paimio Sanatorium, its service providers, or commercial partners. All unauthorized use, including copying of the content, is strictly prohibited. No rights are licensed or granted or otherwise transferred by these Terms and Conditions.
9. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland, without giving effect to the choice of law provisions therein. If you are a consumer customer, this provision will not limit any consumer protection rights that you may be entitled to under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
Any dispute concerning these terms and conditions is to be settled in the competent Finnish court. If the customer is not domiciled in Finland, the disputes will be settled in Helsinki District Court as first instance.
Consumer customers may alternatively file a complaint at the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi), which is an independent body that provides recommendations for resolving legal disputes between consumers and businesses in Finland. Consumers based in Europe also have the possibility to bring their case to the online dispute resolution forum maintained by the European Commission.
